We wonder what has changed with the world. This new generation, those Millennials, are shaking up the workforce and the way we live in a way not seen since the Baby Boomer generation.
But it is not just the Millennials. Plenty of us belonging to “other” generations have long held the same desire for work that was more than just a paycheck; for purpose and meaning for the time and energy we invest 8 plus hours a day. We just didn’t have the heft and size that this younger generation has coming into the workforce to make an impact.
So yes, times are a changing and as an organization we need to change as well. I am willing to bet that you are going to enjoy some of these changes…it’s just going to take some adjusting!
